Sweet and Creamy Pasta Salad

1 pkg. elbow macaroni (make according to pkg. directions and cool)
3 chicken breasts, boiled and cut into small bite size pieces
4 celery stalks, cut into small pieces
2 green onions, cut into small pieces
1 green pepper, cut into small pieces
1 cup peas
3 to 4 cups red grapes, cut in 1/2
1 cup cheddar cheese cubes
1 cup slivered almonds (optional)
Dressing:
2 cups mayonnaise
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup sugarsalt and pepper to taste
Pasta will seem very saucy but will absorb dressing as it chills. Chill overnight.
(Makes 10 - 12 servings)
