Sisters we will be studying Chapter 7 from Daughters in My Kingdom tomorrow in Relief Society along with the 2000 General Conference talk from Virginia U Jensen titled "Ripples."
We will have a fun quiz about the origins of Relief Society and Visiting Teaching with prizes so reading will reap prizes as well as blessings! :)
Please follow the two links below for your reading preparation.

Thoughts to ponder from this chapter:
"The Savior calls His disciples to work with
Him in His ministry, giving them the opportunity
to serve others and become more like
Him. In Relief Society, each sister has the
opportunity to watch over and strengthen
sisters one by one through visiting teaching.
Sister Julie B. Beck, the fifteenth Relief Society
general president, said, “Because we follow
the example and teachings of Jesus Christ, we
value this sacred assignment to love, know,
serve, understand,"

Thoughts to ponder from this talk:
"Like the expanding circles our pebbles made on Jackson Lake, the actions of righteous women ripple on and on through time and space and even generations. These righteous actions come from our understanding of the divine mission of Jesus Christ, our knowledge of the gospel plan, our obedience to eternal commandments, and our work in this, the kingdom of God on earth."
Sisters, I have a testimony of the divinely inspired program of Visiting Teaching and look forward to discussing this important assignment, while encouraging and strengthening one another.
Love, Sister Marstella
