We are CHRISTIANS!

Once again, people inadvertently give us amazing exposure!
Last week, a key Dallas minister called us a "cult" and said Mormons are NOT Christians. It reminds me of what the Apostle Paul was up against with people of New Testament times. He was accused of not believing that there would be a "Messiah" as his fellow Jews did. The Jews who believed that Jesus Christ was the Messiah and that He had come and was now gone (without having saved THEM from Roman or any other kind of rule - hence not their kind of Messiah) were called "Christians" - a very negative word at that time.
Today, in the Dallas Morning News, there are at least two articles (one an editorial) explaining why Mormons are Christians.
We could not pay for this kind of advertising. BUT, it is a time for all of us to stand up and be informed and be counted as one who worships all that is Jesus Christ. Others might say we are not Christian as we do not believe we have "exclusive" salvation through Jesus Christ - but - they misunderstand. We do KNOW that it is only through the atonement of Jesus Christ we can ever hope to be in the presence of our Heavenly Father again..."after all we can do". (2 Nephi 25:23)
We KNOW that Jesus Christ is our Savior and our Redeemer and He is the ONLY reason we have hope and His life and example are the ONLY way back to the presence of our Father...as we "work out our own salvation with fear and trembling"! (Philippians 2:1-21)
We are part of the Army of Christ and we have been "CALLED TO ARMS
