Laundry Detergent

A special thanks to Sister April Calloway for preparing the bags of detergent for each of us! I thought it would be fun for us to leave comments here about our experiences using/making this detergent.

RECIPE
1 cup Borax
1 cup Washing Soda
1/4 cup Oxyclean
1 bar Fels Naptha Soap (finely grated)

Mix all ingredients together, and store in a plastic container or zip-loc bag. Use 2 Tbsp for a large load of laundry (1 Tbsp for small load).

I've been using my laundry soap for the past week and I really like it! The laundry smells so fresh and clean, and not like a pine forest or a summer rain or anything other than just plain clean. Thanks so much for teaching us!
